scene. laura? >> i'm at 21 and silver. this is still an active and dangerous situation. all activity happening just down the street from where i'm standing. let's show you video we have from both on the ground and sky 7 hd. taken just minutes ago. the s.w.a.t. team had a vehicle parked in front of the house with guns drawn. they tried to make communication was the suspect. we understand he's a homicide suspect inside of the house over a loud speaker, we heard a loud popping noise. it sounded like a flash grenade. that was followed by more loud bangs which we understand were tear gas. at that point the s.w.a.t. vehicle went inside the site of the building which we understand is a fourplex. they crashed through a gate. we can't see what is going on. we've heard more loud bangs. again, a fluid situation.

all treated and released telling us at this point is that this is a homicide suspect from an oakland homicide. they will not tell us which homicide that might be as we look down the street you can see police car down there at the end of the street. again, all activities at this point moved to the side of the houchls we saw the s.w.a.t. vehicle go in to use jaws of life to break through a metal gate and get that out of the house live in west oakland abc 7 news. >> and and port of oakland meeting in an hour to consider legal action against one of their own officials accused of spending thousands of public money in a strip club. >> the board says it shows a port official set $4500 of public money in a houston strip club in 2008. the board didn't discover where the money was spent until earlier this year. >> happening now sheriff ross mirkarimi back on the job after a plitly bruising

home prices in the san francisco bay area up to their highest level if four years. investigate daita quick reports the median price rose to $429,000 nearly a 5% spike from august. a 17.5% increase from september of last year. data quick says improving questions are helping the market. >> amazon wants kindel customers to know they're entitled to a credit on prior purchases part of a settlement between major publishers and the government. they faced accusations of conspiring to fix prices. a judge signed off on the

thursday. we're going to see inland high as above 90 degrees by mid week, satellite shows high pressure is the dominant feature in our weather. this ridge is expanding. look at the set up taking place over the next day or so. we'll start at 7:00 this evening. we'll see high pressure still holding on but a new center of high pressure will be building in overnight, tuesday into wednesday morning. by wednesday morning we'll have a warm dry shot of winds. will increase fire risk. there are no advisories for fire danger that has been put out there yet. however, with warming and dry winds there is a possibility of risk of fire. and and it's going to be mild overnight tonight. low temperatures ranging from upper 50s to low 60s much of the bay area, then, tomorrow, sunny skies into the south bay. highs into upper 70s to low 80s.

checking healthy living news this after the nona study shows preteen girls do not become more promiscuous after getting vaccinated for a sexually transmitted disease. research looked at the girls who received the vaccine in atlanta. it protects against humanpapilloma virus that can lead to cervical cancer. the team looked at asking for birth control, being tested for stds or getting pregnant and discovered there wasn't a difference between girls vaccinated and those who were not. the study appears online in
